iPhone (iOS) Setup Steps

Fully compatible with iOS 16, 17, and 18.

Download from the App Store

Get Candemkey on the App Store and open the app once to complete initial onboarding.

Open iOS Keyboard Settings

Open your iPhone's Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards.

Add Candemkey

Tap Add New Keyboard… and choose Candemkey from the list.

Enable "Allow Full Access"

Tap on Candemkey in the keyboards list and toggle Allow Full Access on.

Why is Full Access Required?
iOS requires this permission for any third-party keyboard that connects to the cloud. Candemkey only accesses network servers when you explicitly tap the purple AI key to rewrite or translate text. Your regular typing is never logged or transmitted.

Android Setup Steps

Fully compatible with Android 11 through 15.

Install from Google Play

Download Candemkey from Google Play Store.

Open Languages & Input

Go to Settings > System > Languages & Input > On-screen Keyboard > Manage Keyboards.

Enable Candemkey

Toggle Candemkey on and confirm the standard Android system dialog.

Set as Default Keyboard

Tap any text area, press the keyboard icon at the bottom, and select Candemkey.
