AI KEYBOARD
Wherever you type, AI is one key away.
Candemkey is the AI keyboard that's with you wherever you type.
Design mockup: the interface is redrawn for the web with the app's own sizes and colors. The AI reply is an example; real results may vary.
Turkish Q · English (QWERTY) · Spanish (QWERTY)
AI ACTIONS
Five buttons, one command line.
Select some text, or just stay where you're typing, and press the AI key. If there's a selection, that's what gets rewritten; if not, everything before the cursor. Want something the buttons don't cover? Type it in the command line in your own words.
Example: the same rough sentence rewritten by each of the five AI actions, and translated into Spanish with a request typed in the command line.
BEFORE
gonna be late to the meeting tmrw start without me
AFTER
EXAMPLEI'll be slightly late to tomorrow's meeting; please start without me.
COMMAND LINE
Translate this into Spanish
Mañana llegaré tarde a la reunión; empiecen sin mí.
Translation isn't a button: you just ask in the command line. With an empty field you can also start from scratch, like “Write a birthday message for Emma”.
When the result is in, you choose: Apply puts it in place of your text, Copy sends it to the clipboard, Retry writes another version.
FIELD BY FIELD
AI in every app
Messages, email, notes or the address bar: the keyboard recognizes the field and adjusts the bottom row and the return key to match. You pick your layout (Turkish Q, English or Spanish QWERTY) in the app.
Plain text field: the return key stays a new-line arrow.
Design mockup: the interface is redrawn for the web with the app's own sizes and colors. The AI reply is an example; real results may vary.
EXCEPTIONS
- In password fields the AI panel doesn't open and the keyboard records nothing.
- On iPhone, number and phone fields open the iOS keypad; iOS doesn't allow other keyboards there. On Android, Candemkey shows its own number pad in those fields.
PERSONALIZATION
How should the AI talk to you?
Shape the AI your way. Personalization has personality sliders, form of address, speaking style and Memory. These settings only affect AI replies; they don't touch what you type on the keyboard.
Example: three settings of the four personality sliders, and three different replies to the same request written with those settings.
SAMPLE SETTING
The app has no presets; these are three sample slider positions.
Request: “Tell the team we moved the meeting to Thursday”
One request, three settings. Replies are examples.
PERSONALITY BALANCE
MEMORY
WorkI lead a team
As you use the AI panel, it draws short notes about your writing style and adds them here. Your actual messages are never stored.
Off by default. If you turn it on, only short notes are kept, and you can edit or delete them.
When it's on, it looks like this:
AI learnedWrites short, direct sentences.
PRIVACY
What we keep and what we don't
What you type isn't stored on our servers.
Not stored on our servers
What you type. When you start an AI action, only that text is sent to our AI provider to produce the reply; we don't store it on our servers.
When does AI run?
Only when you press the AI key and pick an action or send a request. Only on that text: your selection, or if nothing is selected, what's before the cursor.
Kept with your account, if you sign in
Your account details (Apple or Google ID, email, display name), your settings (including custom instructions), your Memory items and usage counters. The counters hold no text, only the type and time of each action.
Only on your device
Your personal dictionary and background image. You can erase the dictionary with one tap; the image is never sent anywhere.
Password fields
In password and secure fields the keyboard records nothing, and the AI panel doesn't open.
Full Access
iOS
AI features must connect to our server, so iOS requires “Allow Full Access”. It isn't needed for typing; with it off the keyboard keeps working offline. It's optional during setup, and you can skip it.
Android
There's no Full Access setting. When you enable any keyboard, Android shows a standard security warning; Candemkey does not record what you type.
In your hands
Export my data copies everything in your account to the clipboard as JSON. Delete account permanently removes your account and all data tied to it.
FAQ
Common questions
AI
What can the AI do?
Press the AI key and you get five actions: Fix, Formal, Casual, Shorten, Expand. For anything else, type it in the “Tell Candemkey something…” line, like translating a text or writing a message from scratch in an empty field. Then Apply puts the result in place of your text, Copy sends it to the clipboard, or Retry asks for another version.
Do I have to sign in?
Not to type: the keyboard works without an account. AI and Memory need you to sign in, with Apple or Google on iPhone and with Google on Android. AI also needs an internet connection, and Full Access on iPhone.
What does “Let AI learn my writing style” do?
It's off by default. If you turn it on, it draws short notes about your writing style as you use the AI panel and shows them in Memory with an “AI learned” badge. You can edit or delete those notes. Your actual messages aren't stored. If you turn it off, the learned notes are deleted.
How are slang and adult content handled?
In the Limits tab of Personalization you choose how much slang and profanity is allowed. Flirty tone and mature topics stay off until you confirm you're over 18. Whatever you choose, the service's fixed safety rules always apply.
PRIVACY
Is what I type being saved?
Not on our servers. The keyboard only sends text when you press the AI key and start an action: your selection, or what's before the cursor. That text goes to our AI provider to produce the reply; we don't store it on our servers. If “Learn words” is on, new words you type often are added to the personal dictionary on your device only.
What data do you keep on the server?
If you sign in: your account details, settings, Memory items and usage counters (no text). You can export all of it as JSON from the app, or delete your account to remove it permanently. If you don't sign in, there's no account kept for you on the server.
Why does it ask for Full Access?
Only on iPhone, and only for AI. iOS lets a keyboard go online only with “Allow Full Access” on, and AI has to reach our server. It isn't needed for typing: with it off, the keyboard works offline. It's optional during setup, and you can skip it.
Why does Android show a security warning?
Android shows that warning as standard for every keyboard you enable. Candemkey does not record what you type.
Does it work in password fields?
In password fields the AI panel doesn't open and the keyboard records nothing. On iPhone, iOS switches to its own keyboard in password fields anyway.
KEYBOARD
Which languages does it support?
There are three layouts: Turkish Q, English QWERTY and Spanish QWERTY. You choose which ones to use and their order in the app; the first one is used when the keyboard opens. The app and the AI panel are in Turkish, English and Spanish too.
Can I change how the keyboard looks?
Yes. In Keyboard settings you'll find Dark, Light or System theme; Short, Normal or Tall height; your own photo as a background; key borders, one-handed mode and haptic feedback. Key sound is iOS only.
When is it coming out?
There's no firm date yet. Candemkey is being prepared for iOS and Android and isn't in the stores right now. When it is, the App Store and Google Play links will be on this page.
